Katy Burris
Katy is a sophomore public relations major, art minor and photographer who wants to work doing corporate commercial photography. She is from Justin, Tx and plays on the golf team at Hardin-Simmons. Katy also works for Young Life Albany where she is in charge of running summer camps, bible studies, and making posters and flyers for all of the events. This job requires basic skills in Adobe Illistrator, which she now has after working on this project.
While working on this project I got the opportunity to further my skills in Adobe Ilistrator. This is very useful for me because I recently got a new job where I am required to know how to work Adobe Illustrator. My part in the project was to create a poster and invitation card for our project using Adobe Illustrator. I really enjoyed going on the field trip and learning about my community and its surrounding areas. I have a deeper appreciation and understanding of West Texas after visiting the Old Jail Museum Complex in Palo Pinto and the 12th Armored Division Museum in Abilene.
