Hail! Hail! The Caravan!

Recording Hail! Hail! The Caravan! was a truly rewarding experience for me. After a bit of research and finding the piece in its entirety, I studied it and compared it to similar music of that era to write in a few appropriate harmonizations that would fill out the piece. After much deliberation and work, I finally had a piec of music that I was proud of an proceeded to find an ensemble that could record this piece. I settledon a grou pf men from the HSU Concert Choir in a TTBB arrangment. We bagan recording a week later after a few hours of rehearsal and finished the recording in two hours. Once we had listened to the finished product we knew it was something special. I am very proud to have been a part of this remnant of our past and thrilled to share the music that inspired a nation.
